the beauty that lies inside your eyes,of how your distant glance looks beyond my reach
and gives me hope that you are searching and
that I will be the one you find.

that in the absence of your presence
I have no place to go,
no dream to conquer,
no hope to wait for.

that if you were to turn away
and never again look my way
I would fail to exist.
I would be a man
with no past,

no future.

I pity all those
who know not
your touch
or your eyes

for they have lived
a cold void life.

I am angry with that day, 
the one that brought me to you.
Why couldn't it have showed me mercy. Why did it have to lead me into your gaze and ruin me for all of these days.

I no longer breathe deep full breaths
or close my eyes completely to rest.
That I run stealing glimpses of your shadow to try and fill my heart.
